⭐Employee Spotlight⭐
Meet Dexter Clemmons, an HVAC Technician at the Port of Wilmington. Dexter joined the team in 2019 and has been dedicated to continuous learning since day one.
Dexter started by taking small online classes and participating in various HVAC training programs through Ports University. He is now enrolled in college and is on his way to earning a bachelor's degree in business administration!
Ports U is a program dedicated solely to the professional development and growth of NC Ports employees. You can hear more about Dexter's Ports U journey below! We are so grateful for his commitment to excellence!

Our team members participated in the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s Work on Wilmington over the weekend. NC Ports was assigned to a project at Forest Hills Global Elementary School.
Work on Wilmington is organized each year by Leadership Wilmington class members. This day of volunteer service brings people together to roll up their sleeves and tackle community projects in pursuit of a common goal: make Wilmington a better place to live!
