inland connectivity

North Carolina Ports Charlotte Inland Port connects customers to distribution corridors, services and opportunity. Strategically located in the heart of the region’s manufacturing and distribution centers, the port serves the I-85 and I-77 corridors, thanks to intermodal transit service to and from the USA’s most productive seaport – the Port of Wilmington.

With 20 acres, 10 of which are already developed, the port can accommodate 2,000 grounded/wheeled containers. It also provides container yard operations to ocean carriers and serves as a staging area for empty and loaded containers with maintenance and repair service from an onsite vendor.

qce advantages

  • Shortens first and last mile truck transit
  • Lowers transportation costs for businesses
