Emily Parks was appointed to the North Carolina State Ports Authority by Governor Roy Cooper. Her term expires in 2028.
Ms. Parks founded Organize for Success, LLC over fifteen years ago and works as a productivity consultant with business executives and business leaders. Previously, she worked with teams of organizational experts, including working at North Carolina State University’s Technology Training Solutions, served as Marketing Director at Parks Automotive Group and Capital Ford, Inc. and worked in college sports administration.
Ms. Parks has held leadership roles with the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and the Greater Raleigh Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She is an author and public speaker who has received various awards and honors for her leadership and consulting expertise, including being recognized in the Triangle Business Journal’s 2015 Class of 40 Under 40 Leadership Awards.
Ms. Parks has a B.S. in Psychology from Wake Forest University.
