Kenny Woodard was appointed to the North Carolina State Ports Authority Board of Directors by Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives, Tim Moore. His term expires in 2025.
Mr. Woodard is the President of Vida Wood US and has been in the lumber industry for 38 years. He formed Woodard Forest & Imports WFI in 1998 and imported lumber from Sweden, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, and Latvia. He sold a majority interest to Swedish-based Vida Wood AB in 2008 and stayed on as President.
Mr. Woodard continues to run his family’s farming and commercial Cow and Calf Pair operation. He has served on the Johnston County Board of Directors for Truist Bank and the Board of Directors for the University of Mt. Olive.
